Welcome to Dancingly, an AI-assisted music curation tool for dance teachers, choreographers, and studio owners, operated by 8 Count Content. By creating an account or using Dancingly, you agree to these terms.

What Dancingly is

Dancingly helps you find and organize songs for classes, camps, and recitals based on themes, vibes, and filters like dance style, age group, mood, and skill level. Song suggestions are generated with AI assistance and are provided as a starting point for your own creative and organizational judgment — not a guarantee that any specific song will be available, accurate, or exactly right for your use case.

Music licensing — important

Dancingly does not grant, sell, or provide any license to use, perform, or reproduce any music. We help you discover and organize songs; we are not a music licensing service. You are solely responsible for obtaining any licenses, permissions, or clearances required for your intended use — including but not limited to public performance, recital, competition, streaming, or synchronization rights (for example, through ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, a venue's blanket license, or direct rights holder permission). Dancingly is not affiliated with, and does not warrant compliance with the requirements of, any music streaming platform, performing rights organization, or licensing body.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. If you're creating an account on behalf of a studio or business, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

  • Free (Dance Teacher) tier: No charge, includes the features described on our pricing page.
  • Choreographer tier: A paid subscription, billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
  • Founding member / beta pricing: The discount applies for as long as the subscription remains continuously active. If your account lapses, you forfeit your right to beta pricing. If you upgrade at any time, you forfeit the lower level beta pricing.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you'll retain access until then.
  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Price changes: We'll give you notice before any change to your then-current plan's price takes effect.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the service (including scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempting to extract our underlying models or data), use Dancingly for any unlawful purpose, or interfere with the security or normal operation of the service.

Intellectual property

Dancingly, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to us. You retain rights to the content you input (like custom theme descriptions), but you grant us the license needed to process that input in order to provide the service to you (for example, sending it to our AI provider to generate results).

Disclaimer of warranties

Dancingly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee that any specific song, artist, or result will be available or correctly licensed for your use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dancingly and 8 Count Content won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using Dancingly and cancel your subscription at any time.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and material changes will be communicated to active subscribers.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
